Prof. Dr. Ike Ahmed talked about diffractive optical designs and the powerful ability of this technology to change the light way to give the ability to see all distances. Also, he shared his opinion about PC_IOLs specially trifocal IOLs. He said that it is nothing more satisfying than doing cataract surgery and having the patients completely spectacle free. He stated ‘’My first experience of Acriva Trinova Pro C Pupil Adaptive® is great. In two cases the lens was delivered beautifully and well-centered in the capsular bag. It is beautiful to see the unique design of the lens and sinusoidal diffractive design that improves the benefit and the safety profile of the lens. We benefit from having the full depth of field. The sinusoidal diffractive design reduces the issues around the contrast loss and it has the highest light transmission in trifocal lenses we have in the market.
