Yesterday the Beaufort Hunt hunted this fox on land belonging to Simon Tomlinson in Easton Grey, Wiltshire. Simon Tomlinson is a landowner who owns several farms in the area, as well as Church Farm which itself is a dairy farm which has ongoing breakdowns of Bovine Tuberculosis (bTB) for over 10 years, he also owns nearby Cranmore Farm and Hillcourt Farm, and has links to King Charles and Princes William and Harry. Last season, Tomlinson received a Community Resolution from Wiltshire Police for one of the numerous attacks on hunt sabs. On several occasions he rode his quad bike at hunt sabs on the public highway and public footpaths and violently pushed a female sab to the ground. Despite the disease riddled farm, and his penchant for animal abuse including allowing criminal activities to be carried out on his land, YeoValley organic state on their website that Tomlinson is taking part in their 'regenerative project'. The soil of Tomlinson;s land is not just riddled with bTB but is overflowing with the blood of Britain's beleaguered wildlife. He has also previously allowed the Royal Agricultural Beagles hunt hare on his land. Yeo Valley are making a mockery out of any notion of sustainable 'organic farming' when they ignore ecologically devastating fox hunting on land they are in partnership with. Beyond a joke.
