I got them for use in my home studio following the very positive reviews for the previous version and the price of the current ones was just right for me. They come with a small bag for storage and a decent length cable. For me the cable was sufficient length for my use with my pc studio gear, it's also great the cable does detach so that you not only can pack them away but also can replace the cable if you need a longer one and also very useful for the number of times I tread on the wires, so at least it comes out rather than snaps. The quality of the build is great, really feels strong and they bend nicely so shouldn't get broken my clumsy self when falling on them. Audio Quality: Simply awesome!! You can really hear everything in the mix so clearly, well for my own studio use this was the case and sufficient, everyones budget is different but this is more than adequate for an amateur studio user. I have also used these for PC gaming and with my Apple iPod classic 160GB - Black too and again the sound is amazing. I was always told that if you want to test headphones for sound quality listen to 15 Step by radiohead, and they are not wrong there. Sounds incredible in these! When being used for PC gaming, you'll really feel totally absorbed as i do, there is so much depth to these and long term use does not either cook my ears or ache etc...really comfortable. The detachable cable is really good for this too as usually when i fall asleep i roll over and would possibly at some point end up breaking the cable in the night if the ipod got stuck on something (worst case scenario) but not with this. :) If this is for DJ use, again the flip cup idea would be great too.
