It's been super lovely making friends with, and appreciating the creative expressions of Alex Flett and Cara Golthorpe on their own and together! in this meeting we had in the autumn of 2024, we shared 2 songs and made up an instrumental background for a spoken word/poetry reading! Glad to have figured out some tech issues to be able to release this wonderful show out for you now and maybe start recording some new ones again! The Dawn Phoenix Folk Studio production, named in honour and remembrance of Bruce-Wayne Stephenson's former half of Bruce and Brian's shared studio room. Bruce's contributions to and living practice with poetry, story telling, songwriting and various other living traditions was truly remarkable! (we may eventually call the show "Living Traditions..." to bee discovered!) Stay tuned for more shows! we'll have singer songwriters, story tellers and poets and more sharing traditional and original songs, stories, wisdoms, poems, interviews and chit chat... We're excited for all the collaborations on the way with a wide variety of hum drumming folk strumming chums on the playful way!
