See "In My Lifetime"    • Kevin Garnett Pictorial Mix ~In My Lifetime~   While the "In My Lifetime" mix took me a couple of weeks to do, it was time consuming more than it was difficult. Conceptually, it was very structured and easy to lay out. This "Shirley's Son" mix required a lot less time, but I was afraid that it would end up being somewhat incoherent. As of right now, I can't tell if it's disjointed or not because I've been staring at it for too long and I've watched it too many times. The responses so far from people have been encouraging, though. Thanks for all the kind words. But I do feel that the music piece is too short. Edelman's "To The Stars" (from the 1996 film Dragonheart) builds to the crescendo that I want and sets the tone that I'm looking for, but it ends too quickly. I couldn't include a lot of the clips that I wanted to. Every time I make a mix, the music often dictates what I can and can't do. This is like the opposite of scoring a film, where usually the music is constructed around the footage. In my case, I have to construct the footage around the music. And that's tougher to do if I also have to contend with a chronology.) Music piece: To The Stars (Randy Edelman)
