Formatting Sales Data in Excel: Sales data from cells E4 to G8 can be formatted to show the dollar sign with two decimal places. Cells should be formatted to currency and set to the desired currency symbol, e.g., USD. Calculating Gross and Net Pay: The gross pay is computed by multiplying the hourly rate with the hours worked. Professional tax is calculated at 6% of the gross pay. Net pay is derived by subtracting the professional tax from the gross pay. Using Excel Functions: The "product" function is demonstrated for multiplication. Different excel versions might have different available functions. The existence of a function can be verified by typing its name. Excel Add-ins: Some features, like the "analyze data", might be available as add-ins. Add-ins can be managed from the file menu, and additional packs like "analysis tool pack" or "solver addin" can be added. Introduction to Lookup Function in Excel: The VLOOKUP function is introduced to fetch data from one sheet/table and display it in another based on a common field. It requires a lookup value, a table array to search in, a column index number from where data should be fetched, and an exact match parameter.
