Hey guys. xinu here. Here’s a FL Studio 20 MacOS Tutorial. Tested on MacBook Air M4 Sequoia 15.3.2 In-depth Guide: 0:12 - Unpack the file and open it. Because Mac does not support .rar files, I recommend downloading a third-party file unpacker. I used “The Unarchiver” 0:19 - Run “Install FL Studio.pkg”. Go through with the process. 0:43 - Making sure uncracked FL Studio was downloaded. DO NOT OPEN IT YET 0:49 - Open FL Patch.dmg. Drag the FL Studio Icon into Applications. 0:56 - Should pop up that there is a “newer item named….” Press Replace 1:09 - Open up Terminal 1:15 - Run the command “sudo spctl —master-disable”. It should ask you for your password. The text, “Globally disabling the assessment system…” should appear after running. This command disables the Gatekeeper system on Mac. Allowing you to proceed to the next step. After cracking, you can run “sudo spctl —master-enable” to turn the Gatekeeper back on. 1:28 - Open up settings. Scroll down to Privacy & Security. 1:31 - Scroll down to the Security section. Set “Allow applications from” to “Anywhere” This could be set back to whatever you had after FL is cracked 1:53 - Open applications and leave them. 2:00 - TYPE the command “xattr -cr “ and drag the FL Studio icon into the terminal. It should now show “xattr -cr /Applications/FL\ Studio\ 20.app Now run it. 2:15 - Run the command “/usr/sbin/softwareupdate —install-rosetta” Follow the process that the terminal tells you. This version of FL Studio only supports Macs with Intel Chips. M-series weren’t released until late November 2020. M-series uses ARM chips, but installing Rosetta allows us to emulate programs that were built for Intel-based Macs. This might decrease the performance of FL. Idk If you have a Mac that has Intel Chips, I think you can skip this step. (Didn't test) 2:42 - Find FL Studio in applications, right click it and press “Get Info” 2:47 - Check “Open using Rosetta” 2:53 - You can close everything 2:56 - Open FL Studio Make sure it verifies. If it doesn’t, then you messed up. 3:12 - Select Options and go to the About section 3:19 - Click on Unlock FL Studio You might wonder why we are unlocking FL Studio again, even if it shows “Unlocked.” It's because currently, FL Studio thinks it's unlocked, but really it's not. When it runs its license check, it would convert into Trial mode.
