Both metaphysically, transcendentally, have something in common, they are far removed from the sober views of every day life, and move in a sphere of supersensual presentations and ideal feelings. Did Bach himself notice that the theme of the C#-minor Prelude has once again displayed its inexhaustible, impulsive power in the G#-minor prelude?
