I have been working on a series of videos to help educate not only out of area clients of mine, but also local residents in our community. These videos are geared towards informing you what is going on in the harbor as far as the three major projects (The Whales Tail, Casa Sirena Hotel, and The Fisherman’s Wharf) go as well as what the Vision Plan is going forward. Mr. Mark Sandoval, the Channel Islands Harbor Director, was kind enough to meet with me and discuss where things currently stand with the three major projects going on in our harbor. It was really interesting to hear his takes on the three projects and what the next few months have in store for us as a community. In video 3 Mark gives us an update on where things stand with The Casa Sirena Hotel. In my opinion this location is the best location in the entire harbor, as well as being one of the biggest eyesores in the harbor. In a perfect world this would be the first project to start out of the three major projects. Once you get a large hotel in this harbor, the small businesses, restaurants, and shops will follow. Eventually this will be one of the biggest attractions in our harbor. I am releasing these videos as a four part series and at the end of the series I will release the entire video as a whole.
