P with Metal Stenting of CBD Indication: Obstructive jaundice Medication : Under sedation Known case of Ca. GB involving the bile ducts with liver mets FINDINGS: PAPILLA: Looks normal. No initial bile flow seen. PANCREATOGRAM: Not attempted. CHOLANGIOGRAM: Selective cannulation could be done after needle papillotomy. The CBD and distal part of the CHD is narrowed and irregular. Rest of the CHD is dilated. Dilated intrahepatic ducts are partially visualized. A 6cm uncovered metallic billiary stent is implanted into the bile duct across the narrowed segment with establishment of free flow of bile. COMMENTS: Please see the description.
