Trisha speaks of her ministry trip with Chuck Pierce and his team to Romania and India. She was astonished at the incredible stories of survival as people escaped the tyranny and oppression of communism in Romania. She was inspired by the hunger she witnessed in the people that traveled long distances to attend the meetings in India to learn how to partner with the Holy Spirit’s power. Lisa Williams - we were in a Bible study together and she looked at me and said, “I'm believing God, I decree for an upgrade.” I said, “Lord I am trusting you for an upgrade!” Everyone I'm traveling with was in business class and I was coach. I called up - no upgrade. I get to the airport ticket counter they said no upgrade. The Lord said to me, “Didn't I tell you that you would have an upgrade?” I said, “Yes, you did.” I went down to the gate and they the guy said, “Something just opened up, I have one seat that just opened up.” I said, “How much?” He said, “$75” I said, “I'll take it!” It's the little things in life that confirm His love for us. I was trusting the Lord for that. I was able to recline all the way back and, yes, I'm so tall, that's right, and I needed that. So, the Lord made it very clear to me that I was to share today about this encounter in India and Romania. These people had to trust God. Period. They need to learn to partner with Holy Spirit. it's a new word they you know you just Pastor Daniel Matea and his wife started sharing a little testimony about their journey. They were escaping Romania and had to swim across the Danube River to escape the communists. The soldiers were shooting at them with their machine guns and they were telling how Holy Spirit directed them every step of the way. At one point the soldiers were shining their spotlights on the river. We were prompted to go back even though we were desperate to cross over – but we heard, “Go back.” The other people who kept going were killed. They were talking about Holy Spirit and the reality of partnering the Holy Spirit. They asked us to pray for them and I said, “I haven't crossed over the Danube River. I haven't had anybody shooting at me. You need to pray for me!” It’s that kind of faith and tenacity that we need. These people fasted and prayed for days before they came to the meetings. They prepared themselves. They were going to grab hold of whatever God had. I think that that's a little bit missing here in America. But God wants to restore that and shift things, get us to that place of that hunger. He is calling us to take it up to another level. We went to India. How many of you remember me praying for no bugs? Well, I did not see one bug in India. I didn't even see a fly. It was a miracle! Romans 4:17 says, “God gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” I had prayed, “Lord you know that India was one place that I haven't prayed about visiting.” We were with the most amazing people. We went to one of the orphanages where these children were abandoned because the parents couldn’t afford them. This ministry is helping children escape sex trafficking. Without the Lord these people would have hope for freedom. But these people had a hope! People came from Nepal and China for our meetings. Seven to ten to twelve people were sleeping in one room on cots. There were hungry for the Word. Again, I was thinking, “You guys need to lay hands on us!” The hunger and the desperation in their hearts was convicting and contagious. God is not looking to browbeat anyone, He just wants us to know that we have so much going for us, so much power that we haven't attained yet. God wants to break through in our lives in a greater dimension. The thing that really stuck out with me was just their hunger and the desperation. They were not wallowing in self-pity. I don't know how I would behave in their situation.
