Bike Jump ? WHAT ?!? 2025 GNCC The Mason Dixon, Mount Morris, PA @ High Point Raceway Masters A 50+

I did get a decent launch off the line but got pushed a little wide in turn one, and passed (briefly) on the outside of turn two. When that rider went too fast into turn 3, and fell right in front of me, I had a choice of either crash into his bike OR jump it. And in that split second, trying to avoid a crash, I jumped it. Sorry - GG, I hope your bike wasn't damaged from that. If anyone has, or sees, a spectator video of that bike jump - please share a link. Even though I had one of my best rides in these kind of slippery, technical conditions, I was unhappy with my result. I was running good in 3rd. And was thinking, but I didn't want to say out loud, that I had completed more of the first lap without an incident than I had in a long time. Then I had two little stumbles and then couldn't get stopped in time to miss a course re-route and had to struggle through a section that I'm sure didn't hold up the guys chasing me. In any case, I went to 5th at the end of the lap and was ok with that, and started to just try and keep a decent pace without wearing myself out, but that landed me in 6th - which I'm not happy with. I got the first full lap, which was longer because of the reroute up to scoring, and a little bit of a bottleneck and go-around on the second lap. Hope you like the footage.
