This system will allow you to power your A/C unit with your mid-side generator. It cuts down the electrical draw at the start up (current) by up to 75%, by turning on the Fan first, then once it is up to full speed it kicks in the compressor. It is like mini computer, it learns your system with the 1st initial 5 start ups and assigns the best and most efficient start-up for YOUR A/C unit. It supposedly also acts as a Surge Protection, so in case of a big power surge, it will die first (like blowing a fuse) rather than killing your AC compressor, which can cost few times higher to replace..
