Years of living on the streets, trauma, and mental health struggles had made him believe that anyone who approached him was an enemy. But behind that anger was a human being who needed help, not judgment. Our team spent hours walking with him, talking calmly, and trying to earn his trust. Rescue is never easy, especially when fear and pain have taken over someone’s life.
