Isle of Harris Beaches, Sam's Seafood Shack + Scottish Coastal Walks

In this video, I spend a full day exploring the Isle of Harris on the Outer Hebrides. We drive along the Golden Road, I go in search of the Isle of Harris' best beach wandering along Luskentyre Beach (voted as one of the UK's best beach (s)) Seilebost Beach and others which are so remote and wild, they don't have names - but do have sheep grazing on them as though its a field. Many of these are beautiful white sand beaches and offer amazing opportunities for hiking Scotland. Lunch is spent in Rodel where I tuck into the best food I eat all trip at Sam's Seafood Shack and a chat to the owner gives me a big insight into the impact Covid has had on Harris in ways I'd never have guessed. We complete a short but beautiful coastal walk from Taobh Tuath out to Rubh' an Teampaill, a glorious ruined church perched on a peninsula with a white sand beach and turquoise sea for a backdrop. Along the way, we spot plenty of sheep - many of whom we discover on beaches so remote and secluded, they don't even have names as well as the stunning highland cow with horns and fringe.
