On November 2nd, 2023, officers in Ohio were dispatched to an urgent care center after receiving a call reporting an assault. The caller reported a woman had punched her significant other in the face. The woman involved was last seen exiting the urgent care center before entering a green Chevrolet in the parking lot. Law enforcement located a vehicle matching the description provided in the facility's parking area. Upon approaching the vehicle, the driver attempted to leave but was quickly stopped by the officers. The female driver became increasingly irate and non-compliant with the officers' commands, leading to a confrontation that escalated quickly. During the altercation, the suspect resisted arrest, managing to slip out of the handcuffs at one point and continuing to resist physically. The officers were forced to take additional measures to ensure the suspect's restraint, eventually placing her in the patrol car, where she continued to kick and fight officers. Following a brief struggle, the officers made the decision to transport the suspect directly to the county jail to prevent any further incidents or harm to herself or others. The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation due to her escalated behavior shortly after arriving at the jail.
