So the latest brand to hit the UK Shores from China is Farizon from the NON state owned Geely, owners of ‪@grouplotus‬ ‪@PolestarCars‬ ‪@smart‬ and producer of over 300,000 commercial vehicles - all "new energy" as the Chinese like to call it! So if you think its a start up that wont last or stick around THINK AGAIN! These guys will be in it for the long haul! Imported into the UK by Jameel Motors who are also a global business with significant capital behind them they expect to seell over 1000 units this year but in the coming years to grow that number significantly! Can they? Well the product they have brought in, the Farizon SV, is well equipped, well built and is an excellent drive. Fleet reaction has been very positive. There are a few developments that need to be made but the Kaizen approach of the leadership team in China lends itself well to an agile approach which could see key changes coming thick and fast! Beginning at L1H1 with 6.95m cubed and running up to L3H3 with 13m cubed and prices comparable to existing products in market this has a real chance especially with payloads, at a GVW of 3500kgs, over up to 1350kgs!!
