What is canon law? Where does it come from? And why is it so important for the life of the Church? In this episode of Angelicum Insights, Fr. During the Middle Ages, canon law developed into a comprehensive legal system addressing every aspect of ecclesial life and governance. Yet, at its heart, canon law is more than regulation: it is about fostering right relationships within the Church, grounded in both justice and charity.
