Tlusty & Co. – Our Custom Made Leather Backpack

Our Tlusty leather urban backpacks are exactly that - leather backpacks in a clean and modern style, hand-made using Tlusty leather and craftsmanship. Thanks to the design, the urban backpack is suitable for both men and women, and performs especially well if you want something for professional or everyday use. When its open, the urban backpack is 45cm high, 31cm wide, and 12cm deep. The straps used to close the bag are completely adjustable so it closes perfectly no matter how much you have inside. To create the backpack we use our high-quality vegetable-tanned leather from Tuscany in Italy. This 3mm thick leather it the highest quality and will continue to look great with age. This is not the same for other leather backpacks because they’re just not made from such high-quality leather. The top handle is another convenient way to carry is the backpack, and it’s made from one piece of leather so it’s not going to split or break. It’s firm, strong, and comfortable to hold. We securely attached it to the bag with rivets and stitching. Both of the straps used to close the bag are also leather, and the fittings are solid brass. These straps are completely adjustable to accommodate whatever you have in the backpack. The straps are of course made from the same leather as the bag, they are nice and wide at 4.5cm which makes them super comfortable because they won’t dig into your skin when its on your shoulders. These are also attached to the bag with more rivets and stitching. The bottom of the straps are fully adjustable for a perfect fit. On the front of the urban backpack we have a huge pocket! Now it doesn’t look like it but it is 31cm by 31cm. We use a RiRi zipper, with a long leather pull tag to make it easy to open and close. The base is protected with three pieces of leather with studs on the bottom. Inside the urban backpack we have one large compartment and two pockets side by side, about 17cm deep and 14 cm wide. Like everything we hand make here in our Prague workshop, you can choose exactly how you want your urban backpack to look be selecting the colour of the leather we use and the colour of the stitching. Remember nothing from Tlusty is ever mass produced, we only start making an item once we receive an order.
