Is the Napa Valley Wine Train ride worth it? Here's the honest truth!

Nicky is also celebrating her birthday and she loves wine! We stayed in a town called Vallejo that is in between San Francisco and Napa Valley County. It was about a 30min ride. We booked the 11:30a Train Slot/Package that comes with a 3-course meal and sparkling bubbly. You can purchase wine onboard but we advise purchasing your wine in advance at the gift shop in the station. There is a $20 corkscrew charge but still less then buying on train. Our package - cost $587 total for 2 people - does not allow stops. It rides all the way through the vineyards and then heads back down. More so scenic views. We also had access to the lounge and back of train. It was from 11:30a-2:30p (3 hours). The staff was very friendly and accommodating too! We definitely recommend this. Definitely for special occasions.
