Gerhardt Konig is an anesthesiologist in Maui, Hawaii, who is accused of trying to murder his wife by attempting to throw her off a cliffside hiking trial on her birthday last year. Today, exactly one-year later, his wife, Arielle Konig, testified as the star witness in Konig's attempted murder trial in Honolulu Circuit Court. Part of the cross involved questioning Arielle about her texts with a male co-worker, Jeff Miller, which Gerhardt found months before the incident and had created tension in their marriage. Otake is trying to show that her relationship with Miller was more serious than she's said, which goes to her credibility and motives with her husband back in March 2025.
