This is a funny forgotten song by the English singer Alberta Sheriff. The song was one of the nominees to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999. Unfortunately, this catchy ska/reggae-sounding track didn’t make the cut. Written by Mike Connaris en Paul Brown. It was probably never released on CD either, because it can’t be found anywhere. That’s why I’m happy to upload it to YouTube in good video quality and stereo sound. I also converted it to WAV audio so we can play it on our radio station Samen1. It’s a shame it never became a hit, but thanks to BBC Top of the Pops, this song has quietly gained an everlasting status. Enjoy listening!
