This video shows a fantastic story of premature delivery of Mrs Jagriti, who was diagnosed with umbilical cord prolapsed in the 8th month of her pregnancy. Umbilical cord prolapsed occurs when the umbilical cord comes out of the uterus with or before the presenting part of the fetus. It is a relatively rare condition and occurs in less than 1% of pregnancies. Thus, through an emergency delivery, the baby was born. At the time of birth, the baby weighed only 1.4 kg and was immediately admitted to NICU at Max Healthcare Noida where Dr Amit Gupta took charge of the case. Dr Amit Gupta, is a clinical fellow in Neonatology from London Health Sciences, Canada, with 14 years of experience. Dr Gupta believes that the love of a mother and her milk has that power which can treat any child. The child was fed with his mother's milk which he was not able to digest for the first 4 days. On the 5th day, a miracle happened, the child was able to digest the milk. After staying for 20 days in NICU, Max, the premature baby gained weight quickly and reached 1.72 Kg.
