20 years of VFX Experience and I Still Struggled to make this

I was challenged to make an epic VFX video inspired by a football tournament by ‪@GawxArt‬ and ‪@Vexx‬! Traveling to Mexico City to unveil my artwork with the other artists was the highlight of the project! The biggest challenge for me was how many shots I wanted to do considering the short timeline. Making a pre-vis early on was extremely helpful as I was able to get a good idea about how much work it would mean to pull of the final effects. The video starts as live action + CG and soon transitions to a full CG scene as the ball lands on the desk. The finale returns to live action, utilizing a stadium set extension. Between managing hundreds of models and a dozen animated characters, lots of valuable lessons learnt along the way! #CreatorOdyssey #VFX
