Welcome back to UP and Around We’re in The Costa Blanca and are staying at Rich Mayfield’s, The Orange House Mountain Activity Centre in Finestrat near Benidorm. We’re continuing our climbing at Sella. Sella is the most visited climbing area in the Costa Blanca, with the most climbed area being the long ridge in the middle of the valley. With routes graded from 3a to 8a, there is something for everyone here. Sectorojo de odra at the top of the middle ridge is owned by Rich Mayfield. We are climbing New Years Day which is a 4c route We’ve reached the last route of the day. Andrew has been looking forward to this one. I’m not so sure that he enjoyed it on this occasion. Watch out if you are of a nervous disposition.
