MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE!!! SIMPLE MOBILITY EXERCISES WHILE PREGNANT Mobility training keeps your hips open, blood flowing, and muscles moving - ALL very important while pregnant and for labor. As you can see, nothing here is super strenuous, but it is all very effective if done consistently. There's no set number of reps or sets here: work at your own pace, challenge yourself, know your limits. My advice with pregnancy fitness in general: DON'T anything that hurts DON'T do anything that feels uncomfortable, and DON'T do anything you wouldn't normally do while not pregnant. but.... DO know that your body is still very strong and capable while pregnant! DO keep exercising throughout the whole pregnancy! For most mamas, there's no reason not to.... (unless of course you have a valid medical reason not to). DO know that you and your baby will benefit from maintaining a healthy body and mind while pregnant. It's all about balance.
