(I think this is the last older project I can make a video of. A lot of my works have gone to people I don’t have contact with anymore) This is a wand I made for my niece’s 7th birthday back in April 2017. I tried to make it look like a unicorn horn; and I inlaid a few Amethyst stones into the handle. This one was made from a piece of a bokken I imported from Japan and broke many years ago so I’m not exactly sure what kind of wood it’s made from. I just want to take this bit of time to mention a shout out to my older brother, Ryan. It's his birthday today (19 January) He is gone but will NEVER EVER be forgotten! I love you bro. He would have turned 35 today. Nomatter where you are or what you drink, raise a glass to friends and family past!! And remember to tell your family and friends that you love them, it's horrible to think about, but you never know if it will be the last time you see them or not. Dimensions: 30 centimetres long 3 centimetre diameter at base of the handle I’ve also tagged on a bit of a look at the last batch of magnets I made. The small circular ones are about the same size as the description I put in my first magnet video and the larger ones are approximately 6-7 centimeters in diameter. I’m hoping to do a better video showing the ‘making-of’ process of a magnet or two sometime soon in the future. They take a little longer to make than the stone necklace and I’m pretty much relying on my nephew to do the filming. I go over there most weekends so hopefully I’ll have a video of me making a magnet up in the not-too-distant future :) Sorry about the bug noise in the background too, I still don’t really know how to cut out background noise very well.
