no more wasted time retrying the slow intro. also, no more wasted time dragging the selection bar on the object timeline because that's what every other tutorial tells you to do. hooray! music: Wisp X - Mint (check out Sinnoh's map! https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/755188...) text in the video, pasted into the description for your convenience: 1. right click on the song 2. press 5 3. file ＞ create a new difficulty 4. name it anything 5. don’t clear objects 6. go to where you want it to start 7. put your cursor before the first note 8. hold left click and press z (you will need to select a small area before pressing z) 9. right click to delete 10. ctrl + s to save other small notes: 1. you can change from the default skin through osu!’s options menu (editor ＞ always use default skin) 2. you can test a map with double time by pressing tab ＞ f3 ＞ tab f3 toggles double time on/off, but it requires automod to be enabled first (don’t ask why), so we have to toggle automod using tab for this to work. also, you’ll need to be in testing mode and not be paused for this to work, so give yourself extra room to toggle double time before the part you want to play starts *the hotkey to start testing a map in the editor is f5. thanks Flask for telling me this ~~right when I uploaded the video~~ join my discord!   / discord   Patreon   / honmi   Twitter   / honmicchi   Twitch   / honmi   #osu #beginner #tutorial thanks for watching! https://i.imgur.com/ADOPkIJ.png
