About a month ago Yardmax sent us their new Dual Rotating Rear Tine Tiller to try out around the property & we have been using a lot more than expected! Aside from the standard use of installing/maintaining a garden, we have actually been using this heavy duty unit for landscape repair projects & are very happy with the performance that it has. Powered by the same 208cc Briggs & Stratton engine as many of their other pieces of outdoor equipment (log splitter, power barrow, chipper, etc), the Rear Tine Tiller starts up on the 1st pull & it is very easy to use. Unlike a smaller front tine unit, the rear tine has no issues plowing up unbroken ground (aka -- your lawn) & leaves a path 18" wide & up to 6.5" deep. The speed of this unit & the fact that you can even use it with one hand -- means that it will be doing the hard work & not your back!
