Let me tell you a story, about Christmas of yore It’ll be short, lest I should bore A group of young lads in a bachelor pad Were tired of Santa, in fact they were mad So, after consuming some L, S & D They conspired to cook Santa’s ass, verily This song is the truth and may bring some to tears But it’s been boiling inside for 51 years So, from that party in 1971 Here is my story, please enjoy and have fun! Additional superfluous but factual info pertaining to this tune: Now, the gang had been whipped into a frenzy due to the commercialization of the Holidays, a random Santa doll, the infernal oven (we used to bake apples, bananas & other sundry articles), some decent LSD (red & green barrels, the colors of Christmas. Damn, even the acid was tainted by bourgeois, capitalistic devices!) Caught up in the moment, the hapless lads decided to cook that fucking Santa doll for all it was worth, yes! Sure, I’ll admit it, I felt a thrill rush through me as we watched that Santa-Satan doll fry! It was easy, our souls had already been stolen by Madison Avenue’s marketing, advertising & objectification of life itself! After baking, we hung the effigy of Santa on a tin foil cross high up on the kitchen wall. As I gazed, all night, upon his remains I wrote this popular, hallowed ode to emptiness.
