Let’s talk about Chamoru identity: Diaspora vs Guam raised Chamorus | My take on the Twitter drama

Hi everyone! I made this video about Chamoru identity because I want to contribute to an ongoing discussion in our community about this issue. I struggle with my identity as a Chamoru woman and not feeling "Chamoru enough." Recently there was a debate on Guam Twitter about Chamorus who grew up in the states vs Chamorus raised on Guam, and I have a lot of thoughts about it. After long conversations with my friend Franceska about this, I spent around 12+ hours working on this commentary video to put all these thoughts together. Chamoru identity is a complex topic and I wanted to share my perspective on this as someone who has lived both in our homeland and in the states. This is my first time doing a commentary style video at all and I really enjoyed it!
