Last month I had the opportunity to fly on Air Canada’s first Airbus A220-300 (CSeries 300) on the short hop from Toronto to Montreal up front in business class. Having flown on Swiss’ A220 back in the fall, my expectations were high, but I was not let down. Owing to some incredibly comfortable seats, friendly crew, a mind-blowing entertainment system and an overall exceptional passenger experience, this aircraft might just be my new favourite in the fleet. In this video I’ll show you some clips from the flight, along with some overall thoughts about the ride. If you have any questions at all, wanted to share your own experiences or are just looking to debate whether it's the A220 or CSeries [it's the latter don't @ me], feel free to swing by the comments section below. As always, huge thanks for watching. Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe - catch you all for the next video! Also if you haven’t already be sure give @yhz_flyer a follow; he was killer company on this trip and has a sweet account. __ THE FLIGHT -Callsign: “Air Canada 404” [AC404] -Date: January 26, 2020 -Aircraft: Airbus A220-300 / Bombardier CS300 -Registration: C-GROV (delivered January 2020) -Seat: 2A (business) -Departure gate: D20 -Departure runway: 23 -Flight time: 0:58 -Cruising altitude: 29,000’ -Arrival runway: 24L -Arrival gate: 48 -Route: DEDKI4 MIGLO HABBS4 ___ THE TICKET This ticket was booked as a return flight to Chicago in economy through the ITA Matrix script (was a team effort between @yhz_flyer and I) for roughly $325 each. Inclement weather in Chicago meant we changed our return home from the direct flight back that night to one through Washington the following morning. Unfortunately, ticketing errors meant we ended up having to spend the night outside security in Chicago before we fixed the issue with United check-in in the early morning. We used eUpgrade credits to upgrade the YYZ-YUL-ORD flights from economy to business so we could try out the A220 up front (7 credits and $150 each).
