[ENGLISH] For about 6 years, this mesh that was implanted to fix an inguinal hernia, was in a process of shrinkage and slow contraction, pulling on the 8 scerws that were holding it in place. While it pulled, the mesh damaged tissue, the muscle's fascia and pulled the bones of the hip. Additionally, the resultnig scar tissue grew and hardened, hurting the nerves in the area and generating inflamation... everything extremely painful. Finally, in 2012 the mesh was removed by Dr. Keven Peterson, from NIS (http://www.noinsurancesurgery.com/), a specialized surgeon capable of this procedure. We met Dr. Peterson at his office in the Summerlin hostpital in Las Vegas, (http://www.summerlinhospital.com/Home) and 24 hours after, the mesh was finally out. At the time of the surgery there was no hernia at all and the doctors were able to remove the mesh and the 8 screws without the need of a replacement mesh.
