The hearing further examines allegations about Sibiya’s supposed friendship with Matlala, which he firmly denies, as well as his role in the kidnapping investigation of Jerry Boshoga. Sibiya argues that if there were genuine concerns about his involvement, he would have been removed from the investigation.
