Surgery gives hope for broken wing buzzard!

Work never stops here at Wildlife Aid, and even a birthday party doesn't keep Emma away from the treatment room! This beautiful pale buzzard was brought in to us by the RSPCA after being hit by a car on the M25 slip-road near Heathrow Airport. After a quick examination, Emma diagnosed a badly broken wing, and it was off to see avian specialist vet Neil Forbes from Vets Now Referrals in Swindon to see if he could give the bird a second chance. We are currently running a campaign to raise money for new raptor boxes to help us collect, transport and house these birds with care.
