This story indicates that Bogwang Temple is not merely a geographical name but was named through a kind of revelation, enhancing its mystical atmosphere. Near the temple, there is a mountain spirit pavilion, behind which lies a cave with a spring said to clear one's mind. Han Seok-bong is known to have visited this place and spent time here. The healing power provided by nature has been loved since ancient times. Bonap Mountain itself also holds fascinating history. Han Seok-bong, a calligrapher renowned in the early Joseon period, named his pseudonym "Seokbong" after the mountain. Additionally, when he left Gapyeong, he buried the ink and inkstone he used at this mountain, a legend suggesting that Bonong Mountain is not just a part of nature but plays a role as part of cultural heritage.
