VW T4 Concealed Electric Hook Up, Consumer Unit & 240 Sockets Install VW T4 Camper

In this video I show how I install my concealed electric hook up point behind the false fog light. I also install a mains 240v RCD Consumer unit with a twin gang 240v socket with USB connections (see links below for items). The hook up point can be used at home or on site and just needs the false fog light popping out to access the connection point. On the other side of the light cluster inside the van I have installed the RCD consumer unit. This was a new unit I purchased listed as a garage RCD unit. It has 2x 16A MCB circuit breakers to ensure the electrics are protected at all times. I wire the fridge directly to the RCD on its own breaker and the 240v sockets to the other 16a MCB breaker I scheduled this install to be completed shortly before the van was due to be inspected by a registered motorhome specialist and it was inspected, tested and signed off with no issues raised at all (just like the rest of the inspection).
