Arkansas State Troopers Find 33 Grams of Meth During Traffic Stop

All footage and information used in this video, was provided to me by the Arkansas State Police Legal Specialists. The full report from Trooper Cody Brown will be stated below, for your review: "On July 30, 2022, I was dispatched to a reckless driver traveling southbound on U.S. HWY 67. The caller said that the vehicle was a Nissan Maxima with an Arkansas disabled tag of 396220. I made contact with the vehicle near the U.S. HWY 67 48th mile marker. The vehicle was continuously driving in the left lane without passing. There were around 3 other vehicles stacked up behind the vehicle waiting to pass. I initiated a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle for continuously driving in the left lane, impeding traffic. It was also noted that the suspect vehicle was traveling in rainy conditions with no headlights operative. After stopping the vehicle I approached the passenger side, and announced who I was and the reason for the stop. After returning to my vehicle I ran the driver Identified as Jessie Shamblin, through ACIC/NCIC. Around the time of me running the driver, CPL Griffith and TRP Kootz arrived on scene. I explained to both troopers the reason for my stop, and that the driver was a parolee with a search waiver on file. A search was conducted on the driver and the vehicle he was driving. During the search an approximate 33 grams of methamphetamine was found within the vehicle. After finding the methamphetamine, I contacted the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force. The suspect was placed under arrest for 5-64-419(B)(1)(C): Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I, II Meth or Cocaine, Greater than 10G but less than 200G and transferred into the custody of Central Arkansas DTF Agent Hofstad. The suspect also received citations for Impeding traffic, and no headlights operative in rainy conditions."
