#coloredpenciltutorial #colouredpencil #coloredpencildrawing Welcome to the tutorial where I'll explain how I mix and blend colours to create a bird's beak. I'm drawing this female cardinal's beak which is a bright red / pink colour. I do not have the exact coloured pencils in my collection so I'll take you though all of the coloured pencils that I used to blend the shade directly on my Pastelmat. I'm effectively using my paper to mix and blend my colours just like a watercolour artist would use a paint palette if mixing watercolors. The tutorial is part of a full length, step by step, tutorial over on my Patreon channel. In addition to the tutorial you will find the line drawing and full list of material and supplies used. www.patreon.com/teresajoyfineart Here is a list of the materials used in the tutorial: Pastelmat: https://amzn.to/3KqB3tw Kneadable Eraser: https://amzn.to/3BfT0GJ Polychromos Pencils: https://amzn.to/39k8bF4 Caran D'Ache Luminance Pencils: https://amzn.to/3Qw53XA Derwent Lightfast Pencils: https://amzn.to/3zClhYZ Whether you are a beginner or advanced I hope that you enjoy the video.
