And then, little by little, it starts to flow, and at that point I may move onto the idea,’ he says. ‘My job is to design shoes and then make them come to life,’ says Louboutin whose passion for collaboration and the transformative power of art lies at the heart of his work. ‘It always makes me happy when I have a project that is shared. I create something and then people appropriate it, adapt it, and make it their own,’ he adds.
