Wakamba Wawili is a hiphop duo from Kenya and comprises of Agano (David Munywoki) and La Balaa (Kelly Makau), Wakamba Wawili is one of the affiliates that make up Ukoo Flani Mau Mau which clinched the best Hip-Hop Group at the 2007 Kisima Awards in Kenya. They burst into the Kenyan music scene with their remarkable song - 'Musiq Ya Soul'; which had a unique fusion of neo-soul and hiphop, They released their first album Tume Survive Kilo Vita in September 2009. They are also part of Ukoo flani Maumau stable Hailing primarily out of the streets of Nairobi, Kenya but also Mombasa, Kenya and even Tanzania are Ukoo Flani Mau Mau. A group with a power and uniqueness and flavor that could only come from so many unique backgrounds uniting with a message under the banner of hip hop. The veteran hiphop duo are pioneers of the look to the east concert series from it's inception. In this edition they were backed by the legendary chris adwar & Villagers band one of kenya's most sought after band. With Sharama joining them on stage wakamba wawili thrilled the crowd with real authentic hip hop proving that classic hip hop is still loved and appreciated.
