100 % Märklin HO vintage model trains - Part 1. in this video, I run my F7 General Motors diesel , first as a simple A unit, and later as a A+A double unit. This ATSF consist is included in the very rare boxed train set reference # 3160. It was released around 1960. All rolling stock shown in the video is by Märklin. I love especially the tinplate box cars with their colorful liveries of the ancient railroads. The F7 units were issued by Märklin between 1960 and 1975. The Alco PA 1 in NYC livery is a later production with DCC control. You will see it running in the Part 2 video soon to be released. New F7 are being released from time to time, with DCC sound equipment, and in the liveries of other ancient railroads. I will not buy every new issue, as the bodies of the models have not been improved in comparison to earlier issues and they begin to look rather expensive for their quality.
