Around the same time, a TikToker sparked controversy for installing braces out of homes and hotel rooms. So how did this happen? Why were people willing to trust unlicensed providers with these procedures? And what does this reveal about social media, healthcare, and the existence of an underground economy of cosmetic dentistry?
