A native of Oklahoma, Nick Laurent has called Emporia home since 1968. Nick's chosen profession was pharmacy, both in the private and institutional settings. Nick earned an MBA from Emporia State University in 1990 and found a passion for property acquisition and development. Nick has built a successful property development profession and has served in many civic, service, and not-profit organizations. Nick and his wife, Jan, have been successful in the Emporia area and feel they are fortunate to have experienced the benefits both professionally and personally of Emporia State's faculty, staff, and students. To demonstrate their leadership and high level of personal commitment and heartfelt desire to give back to Emporia State University and its students, faculty, and programs, Nick and Jan Laurent have pledged support for internships and the high-impact learning they entail.
