This is the best film I’ve made so far this year. 7029 Clun Castle made a short trip to Salisbury in near-perfect early-spring conditions. Starting out of Birmingham Snow Hill, steam hauled, the ‘Cathedrals Express to Salisbury’ ran without problems, with 7029 leading the way. The Cathedrals Express looked full, as did the platforms at Salisbury, and on the overbridge when the Castle left. Full advantage was taken of being in Salisbury, this film features a couple of clips of the city.
