At Alterman, the team has been focused on refining processes and aligning workflows across design, fabrication, and installation. With Stratus, they’ve been able to streamline everything—from generating BOMs to ensuring safer and faster installs in the field. “I think the biggest impact for me was the BOMs. It created the BOMs for us—we didn’t have to go and count every single bolt, every single fender washer. I would say about 90% to 95% faster coming up with the counts, and it makes ordering material a lot quicker.” By eliminating spreadsheets and manual counts, Stratus helps contractors maximize material usage, reduce risk, and keep labor focused where it matters most. Thank you to the Alterman team for sharing how Stratus is helping transform their workflows into something digital, tangible, and more efficient. Uh, one thing that Stratasys helped us with is that it has brought another level. Of refinement to how we execute those processes. So with Stratus, we're able to take data from the very beginning of our design processes all the way, you know, to the actual 3D modeling, to creating a bill of materials, to, to actual, you know, manufacturing. I think the biggest, the biggest impact for me was, uh, the BOMs creating, it created the BOMs for us. We didn't have to go and count every single bolt, every single fender washer, I would say about. 90% to 95% faster. Coming up with the, with counts, the total counts, and uh, it makes ordering material a lot quicker. Before it would take us maybe a day, day and a half. To count all the material. Ordering materials kind of big. If you make a mistake, add a couple of zeros. I mean, it's, it's money. Travis helps us in various ways. We, we are able to maximize our material usage and, and eliminate drop pieces. We are not walking around looking for a foreman journeyman to ask for direction because all the information is is given here at our workstation utilizing Stratus saves. Labor is safer out in the field for, for our field team. Rather than installing, building and assembling this whole assembly on site, we are able to now pick this assembly up, drop it into place, which takes probably a quarter of the time as it would to fully assemble on our job site. With this I, I've just found, you know, by the click of a button and we get our counts. There've been a lot easier, a lot cleaner. Stratus enables us to go from a manual workflow of spreadsheets and charts and PDFs from our design team down to our manufacturing, to a more digital workflow, uh, where we are able to actually extract information out of the model. Rather than trying to manually extract it to, to cram it into these spreadsheets and get it down to our manufacturing group. So the aha moment really is when we're able to bring a person out of the field as a electrician on the field, and we make them a project designer and we can train them within a day, and they're able to. Produce product out of Stratus. We're noticing that, uh, through Stratus we can find data, we can realize a lot of the things that we're trying to do. So it's kind of, it's, it's almost manifesting our ideas into something digital and something, um, something tangible. There's no other system that we use that, that we can train somebody that fast to be able to be productive.
