During Milan Design Week 2025, the exhibition ENHANCE – Back to Materials explored innovation through material-driven processes, underscoring their role in sustainable transformation and social change. Hosted at Basic Village in the Isola Design District and curated by Juan Torres, the ten featured projects turned research and experimentation into tangible outcomes, offering a bold interpretation of what “material” can mean. The scenography, designed by Terraformæ with raw and natural elements, deepened the connection between tradition, craft, and material intelligence. By going back to materials, the exhibition invited us to pause and reflect—on how we design, how we produce, and how we relate to the world around us.
