Canol Road 2022 Overland Adventure
Steve and Cody Overland adventure starting a Johnson Crossing Yukon up to Quiet Lake. Then to Lapie Lakes to camp. Provisioned at Ross River before crossing the cable ferry continuing on to a campsite at Dragon Lake. the following day we proceeded north to McMillan Pass at the WW2 truck graveyard. Perhaps one of the most beautiful spots on earth. The edge of the Mackenzie Mountain Ranges. we spotted many Grizzly bears on the North Canol. after the trip to the WW2 graveyard we made our way back to Dragon Lake. The next day we found that Amys procedure was bumped up one day so we hot footed for home. Fishing for this trip was poor due to high water though a few Grayling and a Dolly Varden were caught. Truly a beuatiful road trip with a 2wd rental truck.
