In this video, I’m reacting to Black Sabbath - War Pigs (Live) for the very first time, and wow… I can already tell why so many of you wanted me to hear them. This was my first real introduction to Black Sabbath, and I was not expecting to get pulled in this fast. The energy in this performance is absolutely unreal, and from the first minute I could already feel that this was going to be something special. What hit me first was the atmosphere. Even before I had fully processed the song, I was already into it. There is just something about the way Black Sabbath sounds live that feels huge. It is heavy, dramatic, powerful, and somehow still incredibly catchy. Once the vocals and the main rhythm really kicked in, I was completely there with it. It has that kind of energy where it feels impossible not to get dragged along by the performance. One of the biggest standouts for me was definitely the drummer. All of them were clearly amazing, but the drums kept grabbing my attention over and over again. There was so much force, control, and presence in the playing that it made the whole song feel even bigger. Every time the song shifted or built into another section, the drums made it hit even harder. That was probably one of my favorite parts of the entire reaction. I also loved how the song kept changing and moving. It never felt flat or repetitive to me. There were these little switches in feel and momentum throughout the performance that kept making it more exciting. That is a big reason why this live version worked so well for me. It felt alive the entire time. You could feel the band’s chemistry, their confidence, and just how much power they had together on stage. This reaction was honestly such a fun first introduction because it felt like one of those moments where you immediately understand why a band became legendary. Even without knowing their catalog yet, you can tell Black Sabbath has something special. The sound, the stage presence, the energy, and the confidence all make a huge impression right away.
