ATV Riding the Tomahawk Trail - Part 1

This video captures an ATV ride on a portion of the Tomahawk Trail near Indian River in Michigan USA. Indian River is south of the Mackinaw Bridge and is host to Burt Lake, Mullet Lake, and the heart of the Michigan Inland Waterway. The weather was pleasant. This ride was with my son Kyle and my friends Jim and Keith. This video shows the first part of the ride from the trailhead. This ride was in June 2025 that followed the massive ice storms in Michigan earlier in the year. As a result of the ice storms, many northern areas of Michigan's lower peninsula were devastated with tree falls. The trails did not fair any better. However, this ride was shortly after the wonderful trail maintenance folks cleared the majority of the 50" trail.
